It started by helping a friend to try to recover some game saves from his broken PlayStation 3 hard drive. Unfortunately, the hard drive had taken one crash too many and we determined recovery wasn’t an option. We thought we’d try to download the lost game saves (or similar) from the internet instead. What a rabbit hole that turned out to be!
It’s led to me digging out a PS3 I haven’t played for years, downloading multiple versions of software I’ve never heard of and buying games I thought I’d play for 10 minutes and never again. Getting this to work is the real game for me though and it’s been good fun!
Anyway, this post is just to let you know what I’m working on and what’s coming soon. I’m not sure if I’ll have a whole console / game modding section at some point (it is good fun!). I will, however, be sharing the details of my hard work here. This will make it easy for you to replicate my success without the pain I’ve experienced!
Also coming soon will be an exploration into for loops with Arduino (to continue my Arduino series), an allotment update (if it’s not too cold!), and my latest Ali Express purchases (including addresbale LEDs, they look so cool!).
So, it’s approaching 1am here. I’m suffering with a stinking cold and I’ve got a busy weekend ahead. I’d better call it quits for tonight and aim to get the post completed over the weekend.
